This car is smarter than I am
by Scott Douglas on 4/13/2026 10:12:24 PM
I have the AWD Turbo 2.4 Onyx edition. It looks like a wagon and drives like a sports car. Passing on a 2 lane highway with the 2.4 turbo is an easy task. It's acceleration is predictable and easy to control. If there's anything I would change it would be the interior storage. It's sparse. The center console is tiny. I looked at the 2026 model and it looks like interior is more spacious and that's great. - 5.0
The perfect all-rounder
by Isuru on 3/29/2026 12:14:34 AM
The 2025 Subaru Outback Premium is honestly the perfect do it all ride. It handles my daily commute like a pro with a super smooth, quiet cabin, but it’s always ready to gear up for a weekend trip the second Friday hits. The 11.6-inch touchscreen is a huge plus for easy navigation (would have preferred more actual buttons and knobs), and having that standard all-wheel drive gives me a ton of confidence when the weather gets messy. It feels rugged enough for any trail but still has all the creature comforts that make it a great place to spend time. If you’re looking for something safe, reliable, and actually fun (not sporty but camping and road trips) to drive, this is definitely the sweet spot in the lineup! Has a lot of space too. - 5.0
2023 Outback XT
by Matthew on 2/5/2026 7:03:21 PM
Great wagon based all wheel drive SUV. This is a review of the turbocharged 2023 Subaru Outback. As of this review, I have owned the car for three years since new. There have been zero mechanical or other issues. The Outback is extremely capable and comfortable. This has become our go to road trip car - the seats are very comfortable on long trips. The rear seats are roomy and have their own HVAC controls. The full time AWD is amazing in snowy weather and gives the car confident handling in all conditions. The turbocharged engine coupled with the CVT transmission does have some lag but is a huge upgrade over the base engine. The infotainment system works well - I connect to Apple play. The only shortcomings are the lack of physical controls for the HVAC and heated seats.
